Join us for Love, Sex, Lies: An Intimacy Checkup, taking place October 15 & 16 from 10 am – 2 pm on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. This event screens students, faculty and staff on the Auraria campus for relationship abuse.

We invite domestic violence and sexual assault organizations from around the metro area to join us at this event. Organizations conduct outreach to over 1,000 students, distribute materials, and educate students about their services.

We are also looking for volunteers who are skilled and informed domestic and sexual violence advocates to help us run this event. Volunteers provide 1:1 sessions with students after each participant completes a relationship survey. Volunteers spend no more than 10 (maybe 15) minutes with each participant to review their survey results, talk about any concerning items, and provide needed referrals. The event is not intended to provide therapy, but is rather an opportunity for education and awareness.
