COVA Human Trafficking 101 Webinar: What does Human Trafficking look like in Colorado?

October 5, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Human trafficking involves the exploitation of someone for the purposes of compelled labor or a commercial sex act by force, fraud, or coercion. Human trafficking victims are difficult to assist without targeted identification and referral efforts. Victims can be from anywhere in the world and this crime occurs in Colorado more often than you might expect.

This training will raise awareness about Human Trafficking, offer insight to the types of human trafficking found in Colorado and the response to both labor and sex trafficking. Participants will learn how to identify various forms of exploitation, and how to work with victims and survivors, domestic and foreign nationals.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
