The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is pleased to host our 2014 Conference that culminates a yearlong series of events exploring the importance of the protections created by the Violence Against Women Act and celebrating the 20th anniversary of this landmark legislation.
We are pleased to announce that Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards will be our keynote speaker. In 1994, as co-founder and executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, Congresswoman Edwards led the effort to pass the Violence Against Women Act that was signed into law by President Clinton.
The conference workshops focus on three key areas of VAWA: prevention, housing, and civil legal representation.
Participants can choose from 3 tracks:
-Preventing teen dating violence
-Housing for domestic violence survivors
-An intensive 3-day civil custody institute for attorneys presented by
the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic & Sexual

Conference registration of $75 includes 2 days of training with 6 workshops, lunch and breakfast both days, and access to conference
Conference registration of $65 includes 1 day of training with 3 workshops, lunch and breakfast, and access to conference materials.
Attendees can reserve overnight rooms at the event block rate of $139/night (+ taxes and fees) Block rate is guaranteed until September.
Parking is available in the attached Walnut Street Parking Garage at $10 for overnight guests and $5 for 1-day meeting/event attendees.
