Slava Voynov’s wife agrees to domestic violence counseling in bid to avoid contempt: The wife of Los Angeles Kings defenseman Slava Voynov agreed Monday to seek domestic violence counseling for guidance on whether she should change her mind about refusing to testify against her husband at his Torrance trial.
Violence Free Colorado says, “Giving the option of either a contempt charge OR domestic violence counseling does not recognize the complexity of what victim’s face when working within the criminal justice system and does not take into account any safety concerns she may have.”
