We are hiring for a bilingual (English/Spanish) individual to join our team in supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community! This position is full time with excellent benefits.

Overview: The Bilingual Advocate/Cultural Outreach Coordinator is based in San Miguel Resource Center’s Telluride office and is an integral part of the Advocacy Services Program. This position is responsible for supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence using a trauma-informed, empowerment-based approach, is the primary Spanish speaking advocate, and leads the efforts to ensure equitable and inclusive services to clients who belong to marginalized populations. Additionally, as the Cultural Outreach Coordinator, this position is tasked with leading and growing SMRC’s Cultural Outreach Program. While all advocates participate in our community outreach and engagement efforts, this position does so with a specific focus on underserved and marginalized populations (LGBTQ, Latine, folks with disabilities, etc.) from an equity and inclusion lens.

Benefits:

36-hour work week
fully paid medical, dental and vision
employer paid HRA ($2500) and wellness stipend ($1350)
generous paid time off + 10 paid holidays annually
full-time position $50,000 – $55,000/year
