DESCRIPTION:Stalkers are creative criminals who use – and misuse – a variety of technologies to locate\, monitor\, contact\, and otherwise scare their victims. While helping survivors navigate technology-facilitated stalking can seem intimidating\, the reality is that many stalkers leverage common and easy-to-use applications and devices. This session provides concrete strategies to help responders identify technologies being used to facilitate stalking\, safety plan with survivors\, and preserve evidence. \nObjectives \nBy the end of this presentation\, participants will be better able to: \n\nIdentify common technologies misused by perpetrators\nApply strategies to document stalking and preserve technological evidence\nConsider tools for enhancing victim safety
